Celltrion participated in the "2022 Convention on Pharmaceutical Ingredients Worldwide (CPHI)" and had a meeting with various global raw material officials, pharmaceutical officials, and bio-related officials.
At the meeting, the company focused its efforts on securing cost competitiveness and technology.
Celltrion participated in CPHI, the world's largest pharmaceutical and bio exhibition, held in Frankfurt, Germany for three days from November 1 to 3 local time by setting up its own booth for the first time.
The main purpose of the company was to seek collaboration opportunities by meeting with raw and subsidiary materials, contract research organizations (CROs), contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs), logistics, and purchasing from all over the world.
During the exhibition, Celltrion held meetings with about 60 companies and 600 people involved, discussing collaboration on building a supply network for raw and subsidiary materials, introducing new formulations and eco-friendly materials, and CMOs.
In particular, the company focused on establishing a cooperative system to reduce manufacturing costs by diversifying European local raw materials and CMO cooperation networks for companies in Poland, Serbia, and Bulgaria.
Thanks to these efforts, Celltrion achieved significant tangible results, such as agreeing to a contract with a new packaging company at the site.
Celltrion's booth was visited by an average of more than 200 partners and industry officials a day throughout the event period, demonstrating the global industry's high interest in the company's pipeline and production capabilities.
"Global pharmaceutical and biotech officials visited Celltrion's booth and paid attention to Celltrion's pipeline and technology as well as production capabilities," said a Celltrion official said. "We will do our best to secure the foundation for sustainable growth of the company while continuing to communicate with various corporate officials met at the exhibition.”
Meanwhile, Celltrion plans to continue its efforts to secure global competitiveness by participating in Bio USA held annually in the US and CPHI held in Europe.
