Coupang announced today it holds a special promotion where it offers discounts for products directly imported from overseas by Coupang and are available through Rocket Jikgu and Rocket Delivery in time for Black Friday, a global shopping festive event until the 27th.
The “Black Friday” event this time is with a large number of global brands highly popular on Coupang. In particular, “Brand deals” offer a variety of popular products from brands including Now Foods, Nothing, Marshall, Dyson, Xiaomi, Estee Lauder, MusclePharm, Dyson, Jenny Bakery.
In “Special price for just one day”, where discounts are offered every day for a limited number of different items, products popular globally are offered at reasonable prices, with a perfume product from Jo Malone at the 40,000 won range and Acton Speaker from Marshall at the 200,000 won range. The “Time Deal offers” opens four times a day, with each session of the day starting at 7 AM, 11 AM, 3 PM, and 7 PM.
Coupang also presents “Category deals” where products across categories are offered at discounted prices. focusing on the home appliance category. In particular, the “Collection of home appliances under 30,000 won” offers small, value-for-money home electronics popular among people who love purchasing goods directly from overseas.
Coupang has also organized a “Clearance” corner with products discounted up to a whopping 70 percent. In the “Clearance” corner, products that customers were hesitant to purchase because of the expensive price such as Sennheiser’s earphones/headphones and Xiaomi’s robot vacuum cleaners will be sold at a 50 percent discount.
On top of this, up to 20,000 won discount coupons will be provided. With the coupons applied, Rocket Jikgu products will be additionally discounted by 10,000 won and 20,000 won for purchases of 65,000 won and 100,000 won respectively.
A Coupang official said, “We’ve organized this event with various benefits so Coupang’s customers can enjoy Black Friday, a global shopping event,” adding, “We hope our customers will be able to shop popular overseas products through Rocket Jikgu and Rocket Delivery services quickly at good prices.”
On the other hand, the “Cyber Monday” event will be held for three days starting from the 28th after the “Black Friday” event ends. At the “Cyber Monday” event, customers will be able to buy health products for in-between seasons as well as beauty and home appliances for winter through themed deals, and Jarrow, Starbucks, Lenovo, Logitech, etc., brand products through brand deals. Products from famous global brands such as Bang & Olufsen, L’Occitane, etc., will be offered and special prices along with coupon discounts.
