Futurenuri introduced TULIP on December 7, it is digital library solution to Cambodian Senate Library officials for the development and leap of Cambodia's knowledge industry.

It has a very important meaning that Futurenuri (CEO Jeong-Ho Choo), has specializing in global e-library solutions, recently visited the Senate Parliament Library (Director MsKeoVannarith) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and introduced its e-library system "TULIP", an integrated e-library management and service system.

In addition to simple book lending/return management, it is possible to perfectly connect and link the overall library-related tasks, and easily provide archiving and user services of various digital materials such as e-books and digital materials.

"TULIP" is a solution suitable for the Senate Parliament Library, which provides production and service of unique parliamentary information by combining the latest technologies such as big data, AI, and IOT.

The Senate Parliament Library in Cambodia, one of the three largest libraries in Cambodia, I have been using the e-library solution of the new COVID pandemic, but while the library was closed for 2 years due to the novel COVID  pandemic, the system suffered several failures, and the Senate library business service was not smooth, so the current e-library solution is not being operated smoothly. There is an urgent need for solutions to solve this problem.

In addition, since the digitization of archiving various administrative documents of the Senate Parliament was not being carried out, Futurenuri Digital library system TULIP showed greater interest.

As a company specializing in building digital libraries, Futurenuri is a global digital library system leader with great satisfaction as it has been successfully built in about eight countries. Recently, the e-library solution has been exported to Thailand's prestigious Thammasat University, Uzbekistan National Library, Kenya KAIST, Vietnam National Police University, etc.

We are discussing with Futurenuri and India, a world IT powerhouse, is also very interested in "TULIP".With smartphone mobility, students and visitors can easily access the digital library through offline library visits as well as remote learning and education. In this era of AI knowledge productivity, digital libraries are more important than ever.

Digital library solutions are very important for improving national knowledge productivity for the future. In particular, TULIP is a HTML and 100% web-based system that is suitable for public/university libraries and specialized management systems that can be used regardless of OS or browser type.

In addition, the system complies with international standards such as MARC and MODS. Adopting Unicode to realize globalization can support the adoption of metadata on an international level for ontology and semantic web.

In addition, it is a convenient web-based system that provides setting functions suitable for the characteristics of various libraries and institutions. The Unicode-based search engine enables input/output in multiple languages, and even non-experts can use it easily with integrated screen composition and free work accessibility.

Also, it supports easy management of professional data by utilizing special collection functions (dissertations, research reports, meeting minutes, etc.) and convenient approval functions through template functions. Based on these characteristics, TULIP consists of Acquisition, Catalog, Circulation, and Common modules.

The collection system provides the management of selection, ordering, receiving, sending, canceling and further information that has previously performed data cleanup. The catalog system consists of bibliography management, transfer management, collection management, contents management, and media management.

Circulation system is a system for checkout, return, history, and user management. Common modules include notification management, code management, and regulation list management. It supports other modules such as output management, manager management, etc. TULIP provides convenience to users through rich and stable functions, and provides an environment where anyone can easily access with a designated ID/PW and easily access the Internet anytime, anywhere.
