Pulmuone affiliated with South Korea LOHAS Fresh Market, ORGA Whole Foods announced on the 19th that they will release three types of 'sweetened-free granola' that are rich in protein and dietary fiber and can take care of a healthy meal by adding various nuts and seeds.
In the case of the ORGA Whole Foods Yanggaeng category, which is made in a traditional way by adding organic sugar to domestic red beans, recent sales (as of September to December 2022) have grown by 61% compared to the same period last year. Sales of nuts, which can be easily eaten in small packages, also increased by 45% compared to the same period last year. In response, ORGA Whole Foods has released three new types of unsweetened granola rich in protein and dietary fiber that can be safely enjoyed through a meticulous process using healthy raw materials.
The three types of ‘Sweet-free Granola were released in the form of cereals that can be eaten without the burden of sugar by reducing the sugar content to less than 1g per serving 30g without adding sugar.
For health-conscious consumers, isolated soy protein, whole grains and seeds, whole brown rice, whole medicine beans, whole almonds, oats, sunflower seeds, and pistachios are added to enhance protein and dietary fiber. In particular, considering the characteristics of oats that tend to be tough when met with milk, they paid more attention to each ingredient, such as using quick-rolled oats that went through the cutting process on pressed oats.
