Hana Financial Group said it held the "2023 Hana Global Corporate Culture Workshop" from Jan. 30-31 and shared the group's ESG management activities with local overseas employees who directly participated.
It was designed to share and spread the group's future direction and sustainable ESG management together with local employees from various perspectives on global channels.
The workshop, held at the Hana Global Campus in Cheongna, involved 65 local employees of major affiliates of the group working abroad, including Hana Bank, Hana Securities, Hana Capital, and Hana Financial TI. Local employees shared the group's mission, vision, and corporate culture for the "Global One Team" and actively communicated about ESG activities being promoted by the group.
In particular, overseas local employees shared the group's ESG vision, ESG mid- to long-term strategy, climate change response and social value creation activities, and ESG activities through sports through ESG training.
They also communicated on youth job creation, support for the vulnerable, and community contribution activities through various channels, focusing on the group's representative social value creation program, "Hana Power On."
Through this, Hana Financial Group's overseas employees also had time to share the group's sustainable ESG business direction this year.
"We hope that the group's sincere ESG management activities will be spread to the group's executives and employees working around the world through active communication with overseas local employees," said an official from Hana Financial Group's ESG planning team. "In the future, we will continue to share the group's ESG activities with overseas local employees and make efforts to participate in ESG campaigns together."
