LG Uplus announced today that it will strengthen its robot business by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Bigwave Robotics, the No. 1 robot automation platform operator in South Korea.
The business agreement ceremony, which was held at the LG U+ Yongsan office building, was attended by key executives such as Lim Jang-hyeok, head of LG Uplus' Corporate New Business Group (executive director), and Kim Min-gyo, CEO of Bigwave Robotics.
MyRobot Solution, operated by Bigwave Robotics, is a platform that recommends the optimal robot solution suitable for the customer's situation and environment, and has cooperative relationships with about 400 suppliers.
In this platform, when a customer photographs and uploads a process they wish to automate, the automation database of more than 3,000 cases analyzes success/failure/delay cases by scenario, matches the optimal supplier, and minimizes inefficient cost/communication.
With this business agreement, LG Uplus provides seamless service robots based on LTE/5G communication to all stores and industrial sites, and Bigwave Robotics plays a role in introducing LG Uplus products to new customers through AI analysis of My Robot Solution. do

The two companies will exhibit logistics robots at the 2023 Smart Factory Automation Industry Exhibition held at COEX for three days from March 8 to March 10.
