On March 21, Doosan Enerbility announced its participation in an event commemorating the recently signed contract for the Turkistan Combined Cycle Power Plant.
The event took place at the headquarters of Samruk Kazna in Astana, Kazakhstan, and was attended by key figures from the client, including Aimanbetov, the chairman of Samruk-Kazyna Construction, and Kusainov, the president of Turkistan LLP, as well as officials from Doosan Enerbility.
This marks the first face-to-face event that Doosan Enerbility has had with an overseas client since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Turkistan Combined Cycle Power Plant, which will have a capacity of 1,000 MW, will be built in Shymkent, an industrial area in southern Kazakhstan.
Doosan Enerbility's contract amount for the project is approximately 1.15 trillion won, and the company will be responsible for the entire process from design to equipment supply, installation, and commissioning.
