LG Electronics (LG) has introduced its first digital signage projector, the LG ProBeam 4K UHD (model BU70QGA), designed for various settings such as art galleries, exhibition spaces, corporate lobbies, retail stores, showrooms, conference halls, and auditoriums.
The projector provides clear, large images with a peak brightness of 7,000 ANSI lumens, which is the highest of any LG projector to date. It can produce 4K UHD resolution images with a contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1 and sizes ranging from 40 inches to 300 inches.
In addition, the projector has a reliable laser light source, lens shift, 1.6x optical zoom, built-in wireless connectivity, and an integrated camera that assists in positioning and setup.
With edge blending technology, up to nine BU70QGA projectors can be used together to create panoramic images and an immersive viewing experience. Museums and art galleries will especially appreciate the projector's ability to display large, eye-catching images.
The LG ProBeam is a versatile, professional-grade video system suitable for various business environments. Users can calibrate the image to the projection screen and correct image distortion with just one click of a button on the included remote controller using the BU70QGA's Auto Screen Adjustment feature. LG's AI sensing technology automatically adjusts the projected image when the projection angle does not align with the screen for an optimized viewing experience.
The projector leverages a high-performance System-on-Chip (SoC) that can execute multiple tasks simultaneously, provide smooth content playback, and optimize user convenience with an intuitive UI and simple app development tools.
It can connect with LG ConnectedCare, the company's cloud-based device management solution for LG digital signage and display devices. The LG ProBeam with webOS 6.0 allows third-party providers to add projection capabilities to their offerings, increasing the diversity and value of LG's signage ecosystem.
