Netmarble announced that it will officially release the metaverse-based real estate/board game "Meta World: My City" globally (excluding some countries such as Korea) on April 19th.
Meta World: My City is a sequel to "Modoo Marble," a casual board game enjoyed by 200 million people around the world. It inherits the strategic board game of the previous game in a more enhanced form, and at the same time implements the meta world, a real cadastral map-based metaverse space, in the game. .
The game will be onboarded to the MBX ecosystem operated by MARBLEX, a subsidiary specializing in Netmarble blockchain.
Along with the announcement of the release date, Netmarble released various game information through its official website. First, the board game adopted a method of moving through selecting number cards by strengthening strategy.
Users can participate in board games by combining several character cards, and can use various skills during play to devise their own strategies.
Metaworld, a metaverse space, was created based on actual cadastral maps of major cities such as Manhattan, New York. Users can enjoy various contents such as land ownership, building construction, and upgrading in Metaworld. A variety of avatar customization features will also be supported to increase game immersion.
In Meta World: My City, "Inetrium (ITU)" is used as a game token. Users can acquire meta cash through board game play and rewards in the meta world and exchange it for ITU, and ITU can be swapped with the public token MBX through the Marblex ecosystem bridge token "MBXL".
