LG Electronics (LG) has won a total of 24 awards at the 2023 Red Dot Award, including the Best of the Best award for its innovative and bendable TV, the LG OLED Flex.
This TV features the world's first bendable 42-inch OLED screen, which provides unprecedented screen customizability with twenty levels of curvature to choose from.
The LG OLED Flex was designed based on extensive customer research and comes with a wide range of game-specific features, including customizable rear lighting and an intuitive user interface that enhances convenience.
The LG refrigerator with MoodUP™ was also recognized at the Red Dot Award for its color-changing LED door panels and built-in speakers, which enliven the kitchen with color and sound. The product belongs to LG's growing lineup of upgradeable home appliances.
Other winners of the Red Dot Innovative Award include the LG Styler™ ShoeCase and ShoeCare, which are next-generation shoe care solutions, and the LG PuriCare Aero Furniture "table-type" air purifier. Each of these products was developed considering the needs and wants of real consumers, with the LG Styler ShoeCase and ShoeCare tested by the company's own customer advisory group, L.UP.
The Red Dot Award is one of the most respected competitions for product design, communication design, and design concepts in the world. Approximately 20,000 products from 51 countries were submitted for the jury's consideration this year. LG OLED TVs have been recognized with the Red Dot Design Award every year since their first release in 2013, highlighting LG's commitment to innovative design and customer satisfaction.
