Com2uS, a South Korean mobile game developer, announced on April 12 that their popular mobile baseball game series, "MLB 9 Innings," has surpassed 60 million cumulative downloads worldwide.
The latest addition to the series, "MLB 9 Innings 23," is a mobile baseball game that is based on the official MLB license. Since its release in 2009, the game has been ranked as the best major league baseball game, with top 10 sales rankings in sports games in 121 countries on the Google Play Store and 79 countries on the Apple App Store.
The game has gained even more popularity with the recent opening of the 2023 MLB season, ranking first in sports game sales on the Apple App Store in the United States and Taiwan. It was also ranked in the top 10 in sales on the Google Play Store in 81 regions. This success solidifies "MLB 9 Innings" as the global number one mobile baseball game, captivating baseball fans around the world.
The "MLB 9 Innings" series began with "9 Innings Pro Baseball 2009" and has since released several updates, including "9 Innings Pro Baseball 2011" in 2010 and "MLB 9 Innings" in 2016, which has been licensed by the Major League Players Association and Major League Advanced Media at the same time.
