On January 16th, Samsung Engineering received a Letter of Award for the PCSA of the Hail & Ghasha Gas Development Project – Onshore Facility from ADNOC, a state-run company in the UAE.
Samsung Engineering, in collaboration with France's Technip Energies and Italy's Tecnimont, is conducting partial design, major long-term equipment and equipment orders, and overall EPC quotation work for final investment decisions.
Of the total order amount of $80.7 million (about KRW 100 billion), Samsung Engineering's share is $27.2 million (about KRW 34 billion), and it will be carried out until July 2023.

This project is part of Adnok's low-carbon growth strategy, and Adnok plans to respond to gas self-sufficiency and rising global gas demand based on abundant natural gas reserves.
With this order, Samsung Engineering has further solidified its partnership with Adnok, the UAE's state-run oil company. Samsung Engineering, which established a relationship with Adnok by winning the Borouge OCU project for the first time in 2007, has already built up trust by carrying out 10 projects totaling $12 billion (KRW 15 trillion).
