KT, a South Korean telecommunications company, has announced its participation in the World IT Show 2023 (WIS 2023), which will be held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul from April 19 to 21.
KT plans to set up an exhibition booth under the theme of "KT, the DX Pioneer Creating the Future of Korea" to showcase its digital platform's future technologies that can be experienced in people's real lives.
The KT exhibition booth will be divided into three zones: AI, ROBOT, and NETWORK. At the entrance of the exhibition hall, visitors will be greeted by a "Large Media Art" space, which was previously showcased at MWC 2023 and received attention from global visitors. This space visually represents KT's digital innovation service.
The AI Zone will feature an open AI research and development portal called "Genie Labs," which will display KT's super-large AI introduction video. Visitors will also have the opportunity to experience Vision AI technology that analyzes images and videos through various APIs open to Genie Labs.
Moreover, the AI Zone will have an experience space for "KT A'Cen Cloud," a smart cloud contact center where any corporate customer can easily self-register, build, and consult with AICC. In this space, visitors can experience items from the point of view of customers in hospitals and manufacturing industries.
In the ROBOT Zone, KT will unveil various robots such as "Robot Makers," a platform that integrates heterogeneous robot services, indoor robots, service robots that automatically move around the exhibition hall, and delivery robots that can deliver in a cold or warm state.
In the NETWORK Zone, advanced network technologies will be exhibited, including CA technology for improving 5G service speed and quality improvement technologies using integrated antennas.
In addition, KT will exhibit two Ford vehicles equipped with In Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) functions that optimize traffic and signals.
“We prepared the World IT Show 2023 KT Pavilion so that visitors can experience innovative DX services from AI to robots and network solutions,” said Yang Yul-mo, executive director of KT's Public Relations Department.
