LG Household & Health Care's luxury royal cosmetics brand, "The History of Whoo," recently sponsored its first Korean fashion show, featuring the designer MINJUKIM.
The show is part of the "Art of Whoo Project," which supports young artists pursuing traditional Korean art and shares their work with customers.
As a part of this project, Whoo sponsored MINJUKIM's fashion show at the V&A's "Fashion in Motion" event, which invites the most talented and renowned designers to showcase their work. MINJUKIM is a fashion designer who interprets Korean beauty in a modern way and is well-known for her designs that use traditional Korean silhouettes and delicate patterns.
As a Korean designer, MINJUKIM was the first to showcase her work on the stage of "Fashion in Motion," marking a significant achievement. She also won "Next in Fashion," a contest produced by Netflix, which further increased her popularity.
Through sponsoring MINJUKIM's fashion show, Whoo aimed to expose the brand to a younger generation who share her sensibility and potentially gain new customers.
“The collaboration with MINJUKIM embodies the brand philosophy of Whoo, which supports young artists and creates new art with them," Said the Who brand manager. "We will provide new customer value that goes beyond simply cosmetic beauty.”
