Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, recently mentioned concerns that Google is lagging behind Microsoft in AI development. Pichai defended Google's position, emphasizing that Google has been pioneering in transformer models, a fundamental breakthrough in generative AI. He stressed that the early stages of development do not necessarily represent the future of technology, expressing confidence in the team's ability to lead future innovation.
