Hana Financial Group has announced that it held an event called "LINE Bank X SAMSUNG" at Senayan Park, a major shopping mall in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 11.
The event was held at a Samsung Electronics smart device experience store for LINE Bank customers in Indonesia. The aim of the event was to allow local Indonesian customers to experience Samsung's cutting-edge smart devices and to purchase products easily and conveniently using LINE Bank's innovative financial services.
The event provided various payment solutions such as QR code simple payment and a Line character debit card to purchase smart devices in a simple and fun way. Line Bank provided local customers with an innovative experience of K-finance by preparing loan-linked simple payment and cashback discount processes that allow customers to purchase products in just five minutes by applying for a smartphone loan on site.
At the event, a loan-linked simple payment service where loan applications and approvals can be made without documents in just five minutes using the Line Bank app, and a simple payment service that connects to purchases simply by scanning a QR code were implemented. Customers were able to easily and conveniently purchase the latest smart devices from Samsung Electronics, such as the Galaxy S23 series and the Galaxy Z Flip 4.
Hundreds of guests attended the event, confirming the keen interest of the locals in the collaboration between Line Bank and Samsung Electronics.

Meanwhile, Line Bank is introducing various digital banking services to Indonesia in 2021, together with LINE, a global messenger platform company, for the first time in the Korean financial industry by Hana Bank of Indonesia.
