The Netmarble Cultural Foundation announced on May 18 that the "2023 Netmarble Tour Program" held at G-Tower had been successfully completed.

This program welcomed undergraduate students from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in the United States, aiming to provide them with an insight into game-related careers and foundational knowledge for future design work.

The Netmarble field trip program was initiated in 2016 and has been scheduled to occur once a month from April to November, with different schools and institutions participating.

Approximately 30 second-year undergraduate students from the Kelley School of Business, who had expressed a keen interest in the Korean game industry and blockchain technology, took part in the program.

Throughout the tour, these students received comprehensive information about Netmarble and the Netmarble Cultural Foundation. They were introduced to various job responsibilities and career paths within the game industry, gained knowledge about the game industry and blockchain technology, and acquired insights into the business project management process. They also became familiar with the necessary competencies and characteristics for success in this field.

Additionally, the students had the opportunity to explore the company building, which included a historical tour starting from Guro Industrial Complex to G-Valley. They were able to observe the working environment of Netmarble employees and explore the character park.

"It was a really interesting time to see the Character Park sculpture in person and learn about the game production process," said Ben Kilmenko, a student who participated in the field trip program. "Through the field trip program, knowledge of the game industry and understanding of the blockchain have grown significantly."

Meanwhile, the Netmarble Cultural Foundation, established in 2018, is dedicated to promoting a healthy game culture, nurturing future creative talents, and fostering a culture of sharing. The foundation focuses on three core areas: "creating culture," "nurturing talent," and "sharing minds." Through these areas, it carries out various specialized social contribution activities.
