LG Electronics (LG) has launched its 31.5-inch IPS Black diagnostic monitor (model 32HQ713D).

"Boasting the innovative IPS Black technology, this model delivers vivid colors, razor-sharp images, and an impressive 2,000:1 contrast ratio," said Silas Choi, the Vice President and Head of the B2B Solution Business Division at LG Electronics Business Solutions Company. "LG's foray into medical monitors excels in both image consistency through automatic self-calibration and user-friendly functionality with six convenient hotkeys."

Thanks to an 8-megapixel resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), LG’s IPS Black diagnostic monitor offers the level of clarity needed for medical imaging, including x-rays, mammograms and CT scans.

Users can easily adjust the screen resolution to adapt to different image types with the Multi-Resolution Mode, offering choices of 8, 6, and 4MP.

Equipped with IPS Black technology, the 32HQ713D provides clear image definition with deep blacks and detailed expression in the low gray tones. LG’s diagnostic monitor also features a built-in front calibration sensor that enables automatic self-calibration to help keep image quality stable.

In addition to its remarkable features, the 32HQ713D introduces the Focus View Mode and Pathology Mode.

With the convenience of a mouse or keyboard, users can employ Focus View Mode to isolate and scrutinize specific areas of an image while dimming the rest of the screen, effectively highlighting areas of concern.

Pathology Mode, on the other hand, offers unparalleled clarity and accuracy, resembling the view through a microscope.

"LG's new diagnostic monitor aims to provide a seamless user experience with six hotkeys, enabling swift adjustments to various settings such as mode, screen resolution, and lighting," said Choi, the Vice President. "To enhance convenience, the Presence Sensor intelligently powers off the display after five minutes of inactivity. Furthermore, the monitor is accompanied by a one-click stand that simplifies installation while offering ergonomic comfort with adjustable tilt, height, and swivel options."

"Our latest offering provides the high contrast necessary for displaying clear medical imaging," added Choi. "Leveraging our exceptional display technology, we remain committed to delivering medical monitors that cater to the distinct requirements of medical professionals."
