Com2Verse, a company specializing in Com2uS's metaverse, presented its latest metaverse business plan and delivered a lecture on the future of the internet society at the "2023 Metaverse Expo" held at COEX in Seoul from June 14th to 16th.

During the conference on June 14th, Com2Verse CEO Lee Kyung-il discussed the transformative potential of the metaverse and unveiled Com2Verse's initiatives related to metaverse and meta-browsing.

Com2Verse's project aims to establish an open metaverse infrastructure rather than a mere metaverse service or platform. The company envisions active participation from businesses and individual users in shaping policies and directions. This inclusive approach is expected to drive innovative changes in society, the economy, and the environment in the future.

CEO Lee's lecture included an announcement regarding the core functions of Metaverse Office, the first of Com2Verse's many services. The company plans to offer these functions freely, making the metaverse work environment accessible to as many people as possible.

The goal is to empower various companies, organizations, and individuals to benefit from the future's meta-browsing technology. This move is particularly significant for enhancing the working environment of start-ups and SMEs.

Furthermore, CEO Lee introduced the concept of "space" within the metaverse, in addition to the initially planned metaverse office space. The concept of space entails utilizing the metaverse's virtual environment as a community hub, fostering content-based exchanges and social networking.

It provides dedicated spaces for families to share photos and stories, enables universities and clubs to conduct remote lectures, facilitate data sharing, and employ dedicated messengers.

During the event, Com2Verse also showcased the involvement of investment partners such as SK Networks, Hana Financial Group, Kyowon Group, and Kyobo Book Center. This collaboration signifies the anticipation surrounding future services offered by various partner companies within the Com2Verse ecosystem.

"Prominent companies like Apple with Vision Pro, Meta with Quest 3, and Google and Samsung with XR headsets have recently unveiled their concepts and products in the market," said CEO Lee. "Coupled with the rapid advancements in AI technology, these developments are indicative of the metaverse's potential."

"In the future, the metaverse will transcend the boundaries of services and platforms, create new employment opportunities, drive business growth, and foster transformative changes transcending time and space, ultimately shaping a new society," he added.
