Hanwha is set to make its debut in the global stage of aerospace technology at the renowned "Paris Air Show." This event, recognized as the largest exhibition of its kind, will serve as a platform for Hanwha to showcase its space-related innovations.

One of the highlights of Hanwha's display will be the Nuri (Korea Space Launch Vehicle), which recently achieved its successful third launch. In addition, Hanwha Systems, a subsidiary of Hanwha, will unveil its micro-satellite and space Internet service. Through this participation, Hanwha aims to not only promote Korea's space technology but also pioneer new markets in the industry.

Scheduled to take place from June 19 to 25 at Le Bourget Airport near Paris, France, the Paris Air Show will witness Hanwha's presence. The company has organized an integrated exhibition hall, encompassing the Space Zone, Air Mobility Zone, and Air Zone, where visitors can explore Hanwha's comprehensive capabilities in the space industry value chain, covering aspects such as launch vehicles, satellite vehicles, and satellite services.

In the Space Zone, Hanwha will unveil a visionary concept known as the "hyper-connected defense solution." This solution leverages a low-orbit communication satellite network to enable real-time sharing of battlefield conditions across land, sea, and air.

Hanwha Systems, on the other hand, plans to utilize a low-orbit communication satellite network, including the OneWeb satellite investment made in 2021, to observe battlefield situations with the help of the first localized "small SAR satellite" and share crucial information promptly.

These ultra-small SAR satellites possess the ability to observe the ground with exceptional clarity even in adverse weather conditions. Their compact size and lightweight design allow for the simultaneous launch of multiple satellites.

Hanwha Aerospace, another division of the company, will exhibit a scale model of the Korean launch vehicle called "Nuriho." Having recently achieved a successful third launch, this model represents Hanwha Aerospace's contributions to the production and launch operations of the Nuriho. Key components, including the engine, were produced by Hanwha Aerospace, solidifying their involvement in this vital project.

Within the "Air Mobility Zone," visitors will have the opportunity to witness a model of the "Butterfly," a six-seater Urban Air Mobility (UAM) aircraft jointly developed by Hanwha Systems and Overair of the United States. Hanwha Systems plans to complete the production of an eco-friendly UAM prototype by the end of this year and commence unmanned flight tests in the United States early next year.

The Air Zone will showcase Hanwha's cutting-edge defense technology, including the advanced "AESA radar," capable of detecting and tracking multiple targets simultaneously. Additionally, Hanwha will present its Electro-Optics (EO) technology for unmanned aerial vehicles and showcase Infrared (IR) surveillance and reconnaissance sensors.

Hanwha's participation in the Paris Air Show signifies its commitment to pushing boundaries and establishing a strong presence in the global aerospace arena. By unveiling its innovative space technology and exploring diverse market opportunities, Hanwha aims to shape the future of the industry and solidify its position as a leader in the field.
