SK Innovation announced that the company will host the “SK Innovation Global Forum” in San Jose, California, the US, on June 24 and 25 (local time).
This event serves as a networking platform for SK Group, allowing interaction with international talent and local experts. Since 2021, SK Innovation has taken the lead in organizing the forum, aligning it with their global expansion efforts to support the implementation of their "Carbon to Green" strategy.
The forum witnessed the participation of prominent executives representing SK Innovation and its affiliated companies. Among the notable attendees were Kim Jun, the Vice Chairman and CEO of SK Innovation, Na Kyung-soo, CEO of SK Geo Centric, Park Sang-kyu, CEO of SK Enmove, Jee Dong-seob, CEO of SK On, and Myeong Seong, CEO of SK Earthon.
As the company embarks on its All Time Net Zero vision in 2023, the forum aims to facilitate discussions and expert lectures centered around achieving tangible outcomes through the adoption of "New Green Portfolio" strategies, such as electrification and resource circulation.
Distinguished professionals, including renowned individuals holding doctorates from esteemed American universities and research institutes, as well as employees from global companies specializing in eco-friendly materials and resource circulation, will actively participate in the event. Their contributions will encompass sharing the latest technologies and market trends in the realm of future energy.
The forum will feature various discussion sessions revolving around six core themes, closely tied to SK Innovation's New Green Portfolio strategies. These themes encompass clean energy sources like hydrogen and ammonia, resource circulation, and secondary cells.
Notably, an additional special discussion session has been introduced to focus on green materials and Geo Tech Net Zero. This session aims to enable each subsidiary to uncover cutting-edge technologies.
Furthermore, an expert in the industrial-academic sphere will deliver a lecture on "Policy on Technological Innovation in Future Energy," sharing valuable insights regarding the transition to a new energy paradigm.
