"To be run down" - to be in poor health or poor physical condition (usually from working or studying too hard)
"The man is run down because he is working too hard."
"The young woman became run down after studying late for her exams for many weeks."
"For the time being" - temporarily, until something else happens
"My phone is not working so for the time being, I will use my old one"
"We need a new car but for the time being, we will use our old one."
