The advertisement serves as a tribute to the introduction of LG U+'s rate plan, which offers enhanced data provisions and expanded benefits specifically tailored for customers in their 20s.
Distinguished by its innovative approach, this advertisement breaks away from conventional planning methods by leveraging a range of AI technologies, encompassing commercial video scenarios, images, videos, and voices. LG U+ has become the first company in the industry to produce advertisements utilizing AI-generated content.
The advertisement's narrative revolves around a young actor who aspires to swiftly conclude work and entrusts the creation of advertisements to AI.
Commencing with the familiar tale of the three little pigs, the storyline gradually transitions into the hero genre, injecting relevant keywords along the way.
Making use of the remarkable "ixi" technology owned by LG U+'s dedicated AI organization, the CDO, the company generated essential resources for advertisement production, including scenarios, images, voices, and videos. Generative AI transformed diverse ideas into textual advertising scenarios, while visual AI facilitated the creation and editing of images and videos for each scene.
Approximately 300 AI-generated resources were employed in the production of this advertisement, undergoing meticulous inspections to ensure the insertion of voice actor narration in an appropriate tone, utilizing voice AI technology.
The utilization of generative AI throughout the advertisement creation process enabled LG Uplus to achieve significant cost reduction, slashing production expenses by approximately 75% and shortening the production period by approximately 33% compared to traditional methods.
