[London] London-based electric vehicle manufacturer Tevva has taken a significant step towards enhancing customer support by appointing Alltruck plc as its 24/7 roadside assistance and fleet management partner. This partnership aims to provide top-notch support for Tevva's advanced 7.5t battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) and accelerate the decarbonization of medium-duty trucks.
The heart of this collaboration lies in Tevva's 'Rapid Response' call center, staffed by skilled IMI-qualified technicians who promptly assess and pre-qualify any issues, ensuring efficient recovery actions. Tevva drivers can trust that they will receive expert care, whether it's a simple tire matter or a more complex electrical concern.
Leveraging their extensive network of 175 approved repairers across the UK, Alltruck will also offer a range of additional services to Tevva owners, including comprehensive documentation compliance, efficient accident management, and access to replacement vehicles when needed.
Tevva has been actively pursuing partnerships to drive the commercialization of its 7.5t battery- and hydrogen-electric vehicles. Collaborations with ZF for the electronic braking system and Ecobat for first-life battery management are already in place.
Tevva's CEO and founder, Asher Bennett, emphasized the importance of choosing the right partner for electric vehicle maintenance and expressed confidence in Alltruck's capabilities to offer top-tier support.
Alltruck's Director, Paul Robinson, shared the excitement of being selected as Tevva's chosen partner and their shared vision of sustainability in the commercial vehicle sector. Alltruck has taken proactive steps to upskill their team to handle electric vehicles, underscoring their dedication to excellence and contributing to the journey towards achieving net zero emissions.
The 7.5t battery-electric truck from Tevva has already entered mass production at their London facility, with plans for a 7.5t hydrogen-electric truck featuring a hydrogen range-extender for an extended vehicle range. Tevva's BEV provides an impressive 140 miles (227 kilometers) from its 105-kWh battery on a single charge, making it perfect for last-mile and urban delivery fleets.
As Tevva and Alltruck unite in their commitment to sustainable transportation solutions, the future of commercial vehicles promises to be cleaner, greener, and more efficient than ever before.
