With the recent expansion of the media content market, the burden of subscription fees and subscription fatigue that consumers have to pay to watch content scattered across multiple OTT platforms continues, and FAST services are gaining new attention.
Based on its know-how in building and operating broadcast media systems, CJ OliveNetworks currently provides transmission services to a total of 56 channels, including CJ Group affiliates and broadcast channel operators.
CJ OliveNetworks responds to the rapidly changing broadcasting paradigm with one-stop services ranging from broadcast media consulting, integrated solution construction and operation, and content production and distribution.
CJ OliveNetworks' experience in content acquisition, processing, distribution, re-production services, and platform building services, as well as its years of experience in media transmission services, have been added to expand the FAST business.
In particular, the self-developed content management system (CMS) can provide customized content management, organization, and advertisement transmission services. Equipped with a specialized content archiving function, the platform can be operated safely without worrying about accidents such as content loss.
In addition, CJ OliveNetworks' IT infrastructure can be used to reduce infrastructure costs for small and medium-sized content providers (CPs).
In terms of content supply and demand, CJ OliveNetworks has already secured content in various genres such as anime, sports, overseas travel, and documentaries, expanding the choice of platforms.
In addition, CJ OliveNetworks' FAST delivery service and content localization service are combined to help content producers go global.
CJ OliveNetworks has broadcast content experts in translation, dubbing, and subtitling, and last year opened a studio dedicated to HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos content in its Bundang office to provide optimal content re-production services, leading the way in K-content value-up.
Meanwhile, CJ OliveNetworks has been building and operating a FAST platform for cable TV provider Delive in April, and is providing FAST transmission services for CJ ENM's 22 channels to Samsung TV Plus domestic and international channels and Pluto TV, the No. 1 FAST platform in North America.
