SPC Group's bakery brand Paris Baguette has been ranked 37th on Entrepreneur's "TOP Global Franchise" list for 2023, the company announced on August 3.
Entrepreneur, one of America's leading business magazines alongside Forbes and Fortune, recently announced the top 200 franchises across all industries operating in the U.S., as well as global brands with operations outside of the U.S. The ranking is based on the number of points scored in countries outside of the U.S., regardless of industry.
The ranking, which includes companies with five or more locations outside the U.S., regardless of industry, is based on criteria such as franchise size and growth, brand strength, and financial stability.
Paris Baguette ranked highest in the bakery-cafe category at No. 37, and was the only brand founded in South Korea to make the list.
In the accompanying "Top Brands for Multi-Unit Owners Ranking," Paris Baguette ranked 17th and was the only purely Korean brand to make the list.
In fact, Paris Baguette is on a roll in the U.S., signing 66 franchise agreements and opening 20 stores in the first half of 2023 alone.
This year, the brand is expanding into additional states such as North Carolina, Washington, Hawaii, and Tennessee, with a goal of signing more than 160 franchise agreements and opening more than 60 stores.
