DL E&C announced on August 3 that it was the first Korean construction company to win the "Brand Guidelines & Design Strategy" category at the Red Dot Award 2023.
The Red Dot Design Award is a design award ceremony organized by the Westfalen Design Center in Nottingham, Germany. It is considered one of the world's top three design awards along with the iF Design Awards in Germany and the IDEA Design Awards in the United States.
At this year's Red Dot Design Awards, Ms. DL won an award for unveiling "OUR CREED," the brand guidelines of housing brands "ACRO" and "eComfortable World," for the first time. OUR CREED is more than just a brand guideline, it is a set of beliefs that everyone involved in the two brands must uphold.
The guidelines are designed to deliver consistent messaging and visuals to customers across all brand touchpoints. They range from branding philosophy and design strategy to detailed design guidelines for landscaping, signage, community facility design, and more.
OUR CREED is designed with a cube concept that reflects a rigorous approach to brand management. The main colors, black and orange, symbolize the two residential brands, ACROS and eComfortable World.
It also won the Main Prize in the Brand Guidelines & Design Strategy category for its elegant expression of the design aesthetics of ACROS and eComfortable World based on innovative design, functionality, and sustainability, which was well received by the judges.
Meanwhile, this is the first time that a Korean construction company has won the Brand Guidelines & Design Strategy category at the Red Dot Design Awards.
