Woori Bank announced on Aug. 6 that it has signed a strategic partnership with Build Block, a U.S. real estate investment platform company, to provide total services related to real estate investment.
Build Block is a Korean startup headquartered in Silicon Valley, U.S., and is a DINNOlab selected company, a program to foster promising startups in the future of Woori Financial Group. Since its establishment in 2018, the company has been providing total services for residential and commercial real estate investments in major U.S. cities such as Hawaii, Los Angeles, and New York, from sales and brokerage to maintenance, post-sale payment recovery, and tax support.
Through this partnership, Woori Bank will be able to connect customers with overseas real estate investment needs to BuildBlock and provide a one-stop service for complex foreign currency transactions such as remittance of real estate purchase price and tax returns.
"In the era of global investment, our collaboration with an overseas real estate investment company has made it easier for customers to access overseas real estate investment," said an official from Woori Bank. "In the future, Woori Bank will make it more convenient for customers to use various foreign exchange services in addition to overseas real estate investment with its differentiated services."
