Coway announced on August 7 that Consumer Reports ranked Coway's Airmega ProX No. 1 in a performance evaluation of 186 air purifiers on the U.S. market, with a maximum score of 93.
This is the only air purifier to score over 90 points in the study, and the first time a Korean brand has been ranked No. 1.
Consumer Reports bases its rankings on surveys and in-house testing of consumers using a wide range of products, including appliances, sold in the United States.
The #1 ranked Coway Airmega ProX was recognized for its pollutant removal performance, power efficiency, and low noise level. In the satisfaction and reliability categories, which were published alongside the product performance ratings, Coway received a total of five very satisfied ratings.
In addition, the media recognized Coway air purifiers as "Best Air Purifiers of 2023" and "Best Air Purifiers for Wildfire Smoke".
