Com2uS announced that it will be bringing a wide range of its popular titles to a global audience at Gamescom 2023, which kicks off on August 23 (local time).
Gamescom is one of the world's top three game exhibitions and the largest game show in Europe, attracting hundreds of thousands of game fans every year with a variety of themed exhibition booths, experience zones, conferences, and on-site events. This year, it will be held in Cologne, Germany from August 23rd to 27th.
At this year's Gamescom, Com2uS will actively communicate with fans and strengthen its global competitiveness with its games in various genres, including two of the world's most popular "Summoners War" IP series, RPG "Summoners War: Sky Arena" (Sky Arena) and MMORPG "Summoners War: Chronicles" (Chronicles), and Com2uS ROCA's VR action game "Dark Sword: Battle Eternity" (Dark Sword).
First, Sky Arena and Chronicles will meet local fans at a joint booth with Huawei for one day on August 26, as they did last year.
The booth will feature a Sky Arena quiz show and World Arena 2v2 team competition, a photo booth hashtag event, and winners will receive original artwork drawn on-site by the Com2uS art team. There will also be a costume contest and an experience zone where booth visitors can play both games.
Dark Sword will be at the Korea Pavilion at Overseas Market Korea, hosted by the Korea Creative Content Agency, from August 23-27. The booth will introduce the game through a demonstration table, and Com2uS ROCA CEO Shin Hyun-seung and developers will operate the booth and interact with users on site.
In addition, Sky Arena will kick off its fifth European tour of the year on August 25 in Cologne, Germany, during Gamescom. The tour is an offline event organized by Com2uS to directly communicate and interact with overseas users.
Meanwhile, Sky Arena is Com2uS' flagship mega-hit with 200 million downloads and KRW 3 trillion in cumulative sales worldwide to date, and Chronicles has been a top 5 global grossing title on Steam since its global launch in March this year. Dark Sword achieved the #1 overall paid app ranking just one day after its global launch on June 29.
