Hanwha Ocean announced on September 6 that Kim Dong-kwan, Vice Chairman of Hanwha Group, met with Polish President Andrzej Sebastian Duda during his visit to the International Defense Industry Exhibition (MSPO) on September 5.
Vice Chairman Kim explained to President Duda Hanwha's advanced technology capabilities covering land, sea, and air, as well as customized solutions specific to the Polish region.
In particular, Vice Chairman Kim emphasized Hanwha Ocean's technological capabilities, such as the excellent submergence capability of the 3000-ton submarine "Zhang Bogo-III Batch-II" and the multi-purpose vertical launcher.
Following this, Vice Chairman Kim and President Duda discussed technical support measures such as joint products between Hanwha and Polish defense companies, establishment of cooperation systems such as utilizing local shipyards, and MRO business.
"We expect Hanwha's total solutions for land, sea, and air defense to contribute to the enhancement of bilateral friendship and technical cooperation," said Vice Chairman Kim.
