NCSOFT (NC)'s new brawl-type battle action game "Battle Crush" will start its global Closed Beta Test (CBT) on October 23.
Battle Crush is NC's new Intellectual Property (IP) being developed in the Brawl-type battle action genre. It is scheduled for a global release in the first half of 2024. It will be available on multiple platforms including Nintendo Switch, Steam, and mobile.
NC unveiled the Battle Crush trailer and global CBT plans during a "Nintendo Direct" on September 14. Battle Crush is NC's first game for Nintendo Switch. The CBT will run from October 23 to October 30 in 25 countries across North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. The company also released a video of actual gameplay footage.
Battle Crush pits players in a race against time to be the last man standing amongst terrain and enemies that shrink over time. It features simple controls, strategic combat action utilizing terrain and objects, unique battlefields, multiple game modes for up to 30 players, and characters inspired by mythological figures with unique action skills.
The game also supports cross-platform play, allowing players to switch between different control schemes.
There are three different game modes that can be played according to the user's play style. Players can choose from "Battle Royale" mode, where up to 30 players compete to be the last man standing; "Brawl" mode, where a single player participates as three different characters; and "Build-Up" mode, where players compete in a best-of-five series of one-on-one matches.
