Com2uS subsidiary Com2uS ROCA participated in Meta Connect 2023, Meta's largest offline showcase event, to showcase its Virtual Reality (VR) game "Dark Sword: Battle Eternity" (Dark Sword) and strengthen its partnership.
Meta Connect is an annual showcase event organized by "Meta", which holds the number one market share of VR devices worldwide, to showcase new products and new technologies from Meta. This year's event was held offline at Meta's headquarters for the first time in four years since the pandemic at the end of last month, and detailed information about Meta's new VR device, the Meta Quest 3 headset, was revealed.
Com2uS ROCA was invited to attend the event as one of the developers featured in the MetaQuest Store, and Darksword was introduced and demoed as part of the game content for MetaQuest 3 at Meta's offline showroom.
Com2uS ROCA released "Dark Sword" on the Meta Quest Store in June, where it achieved a top 10 sales ranking and a user rating of 4.5 out of 5.
In fact, Meta recognized the game's gameplay and selected "Dark Sword" as one of the main featured titles in the world's only Meta offline store in San Francisco, USA, and will also be running a campaign to demonstrate and experience the game in person at upcoming major offline stores in Akihabara, Japan.
Com2uS ROCA will use its attendance at Meta Connect to further strengthen its collaboration with Meta and continue to communicate with the company to better prepare for the new device, Meta Quest 3.
"Dark Sword" is the first title from Com2uS ROCA, a developer specializing in VR games founded by Com2uS in 2021, and is a standalone title that can run on VR devices without additional devices such as PCs. It is an action RPG based on a dark fantasy world and features the highest level of graphics in VR games, as well as various actions and interactions such as swinging, dodging, and archery, just like real combat.
