DUBLIN, Ireland -- Avanci, a global provider of shared licensing solutions, announced significant updates to its Avanci Vehicle Licensing Program. Hyundai and Kia, two prominent automakers, have recently become part of the Avanci 5G Vehicle program, which includes the Genesis, Hyundai and Kia brands. With the addition of Hyundai and Kia, the Avanci 5G Vehicle Program now includes seven automotive brands and 62 licensors.
Jang Ho-sik, Senior Vice President of Avanci Korea, expressed his gratitude for Hyundai and Kia Motors' early adoption of Avanci's new 5G vehicle licensing program, stating, "Avanci is pleased to welcome Hyundai and Kia Motors, one of the world's largest providers of innovative mobility solutions, and we thank them for their continued confidence in Avanci."
Over the past year, nine new automotive brands and eight new licensors have joined the Avanci 4G Vehicle Program. The program now encompasses a wide range of connected vehicles, including passenger cars, buses, trucks and construction vehicles. Currently, more than 150 million connected vehicles worldwide, representing nearly 100 automotive brands, are covered by an Avanci 4G Vehicle license, with 58 licensors participating.
