Woori Bank announced on November 9 that it has launched "Woori WON Global," a customized mobile banking service for convenient and easy financial transactions for foreign customers living in Korea.

"Woori WON Global" supports 17 languages (Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Mongolian, Thai, Indonesian, Russian, Cambodian, Filipino, Uzbek, Sri Lankan, Bangla, Pakistani, Nepali, and Myanmar), including most languages in Southeast Asian countries, the most among banking apps.

Along with the existing services of Quick Money Transfer, Mobile MoneyGram, and Cambodia WING Overseas Transfer, Woori WON Global has introduced new services such as Quick Money Transfer, which automatically transfers the deposit amount immediately, and Quick Money Transfer, which sends money to China with the recipient's name and UnionPay card number.

In addition, as a non-financial convenience service specialized for foreigners, Woori Bank offers a non-face-to-face "Departure Expiry Insurance Payment Receipt Agency" service and "Foreigner Registration Card Delivery Inquiry" service that allows users to check the delivery status of registered mail in real time.

"As the number of foreigners living in Korea is increasing, we launched 'Woori WON Global' so that foreign customers can conveniently use financial transactions in their native language," said an official from Woori Bank.
