Hong Kong – AtkinsRéalis, a globally recognized professional services and project management company, has secured an engineering and design services contract from WuXi STA, a subsidiary of WuXi AppTec. This collaboration is set to bolster the first phase of an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing facility in Singapore, aiming to elevate WuXi STA's global capabilities in advancing healthcare innovations.
The greenfield project, spanning a 200,000 m2 land parcel, is designed to comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) standards. AtkinsRéalis will employ a Building Information Modeling (BIM) solution for architecture, mechanical, electrical, piping, and structural aspects, ensuring an efficient and high-value project delivery.
WuXi STA envisions this facility as a strategic asset, equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and a diverse portfolio of research and development (R&D) and manufacturing services.
