IVS, led by CEO Bae Young-hoon, announced on Nov. 14 that it has developed a technology to detect wild boars using AI image analysis.
Recently, the number of wild boars has increased, especially in Busan City, where the number of wild boars captured in the city center has reached 588, and the damage caused by wild boars is becoming increasingly severe nationwide.
IVS' AI-used wild boar detection technology is expected to contribute significantly to protecting the safety and property of crops, farmers, and citizens by detecting wild boars early and taking proper action.
Recently, IVS developed and installed a system that detects and alerts on wild boars using AI, as the appearance of wild boars in rural apartments has become an issue for the safety of residents.
"We believe that the AI wild boar detection technology developed this time will greatly help farmers suffering from crop damage and ensure the safety of citizens due to the appearance of wild boars in the city center, and AI will continue to improve its detection ability by learning data, so its detection ability will be strengthened over time," said CEO Bae Young-hoon of IVS.
