Shanghai- During a recent livestream event from its Shanghai headquarters, HiPhi unveiled its collaborative project, the HiPhi A - a limited production hypercar developed in partnership with WESAIL New Energy Automotive. The model, which will go into production in the first quarter of 2025, integrates HiPhi's battery and engine technology with WESAIL New Energy Automotive's Apollo hypercar elements.

David Ding, HiPhi's founder, chairman and CEO, emphasized the collaboration's commitment to combining classic luxury with technological advancement. The HiPhi A's design showcases the future aesthetic of the HiPhi line, with a carbon fiber and matte paint finish. The interior incorporates LuxTech details and features, including the HiPhi Bot, positioning the car as a next-generation 4-door, 4-seat digital EV hypercar.

In terms of performance, the HiPhi A can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just over 2 seconds and has a targeted top speed of nearly 200 mph. The hypercar features HiPhi's proprietary high-performance powertrain, with both the battery pack and motors on an 800V platform. The electric drivetrain features a single-motor front drive and dual-motor rear drive layout, delivering up to 1,305 hp of peak power.

The battery pack is designed to discharge 1.5 MW of power at its peak, with innovative features such as a carbon fiber bottom shield and a fire retardant sprayed carbon fiber top cover. HiPhi is collaborating with the Intelligent Manufacturing System Center of ShanghaiTech University to explore 3D printing technology in automotive applications.

The hypercar's chassis technologies, including rear-wheel active steering, CDC continuously variable damping and a balanced front-to-rear weight ratio, contribute to its agile handling. HiPhi A also features HVC (HiPhi Vectoring Control), a torque vectoring control technology that improves cornering and braking performance.

In essence, HiPhi A represents a pragmatic blend of technology and tradition that sets new standards in the automotive landscape.
