At G-STAR 2023, Netmarble seized the spotlight by unveiling three exciting new titles. The Netmarble Pavilion, boasting 100 booths, served as the stage for demos of "The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin," "Demis Re:Born," and "RF Online Next."
In the realm of open-world action-adventure RPGs, "The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin" is a standout project. This game is not merely an adaptation but a multiverse original story that fully taps into the expansive universe of "The Seven Deadly Sins" intellectual property. To engage players deeply in the narrative, the game introduces a variety of modes based on events.
During G-STAR, we showcased the Story Mode and Open World Mode of "The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin." The Story Mode is a journey through the multiverse world's inception, ensuring accessibility and comfort for all players. On the other hand, the Open World Mode immerses players in the early game, encouraging exploration through activities like fishing, cooking, gathering, and hunting, all within a specified time limit.
"Demis Re:Born," a collectible RPG rooted in subculture, captivates audiences with its compelling characters, well-crafted scenarios, intense combat sequences, and a diverse world.
"The characters in the game are modern reinterpretations of characters from mythology, history, novels, and opera, with 3D cartoon renderings to emphasize subculture elements," said an official of Netmarble.
Moving into the realm of sci-fi MMORPGs, "RF Online Next" inherits the rich world and chronology of its predecessor, the original PC MMORPG "RF Online." Set in space, the game revolves around a war between factions. G-STAR attendees were treated to insights into the game's features, including a story mode and an event mode that encapsulates the essence of "RF Online Next."
The story mode boasts high-quality cutscenes, guiding players through unfolding events as the protagonist grapples with crises. The Event Mode offers a competitive platform, where players strive for records in wave battles against monsters in the vastness of space.
