NCsoft (NC) will launch its new MMORPG, THRONE AND LIBERTY (TL), on December 7 at 8 p.m. KST.
TL is NC's first new PC MMORPG in 11 years. All users can install and play TL on NC's game platform PURPLE. All 16 servers that hosted the pre-character creation event are full, with more than 200,000 players participating.
The total number of servers at launch is 21. NC opened five new servers and increased the capacity of six existing servers for those who were unable to participate in the pre-character creation event.
"We are thrilled to finally be able to introduce the world of TL to many users," said Ahn Jong-ok, PD in charge of TL development. "We will strive to provide stable services and steady content updates so that users can experience the unique charm of TL."
TL is characterized by a seamless world that changes and interacts with users like real nature, weapon combinations that allow players to freely choose two out of seven weapons, and a guild community that allows for faster growth and more diverse play.
NC has listened to user feedback during development, removing auto-hunting entirely and adding more touchpoints for interaction.
