SK Telecom will showcase SK Group's Net Zero and the AI technologies of its ICT family of companies at CES 2024, the world's largest IT and consumer electronics show, from January 9 to 12 (local time) in Las Vegas, USA.
SKT will operate a joint pavilion of approximately 1,850㎡ in the Central Hall of the CES 2024 venue (Las Vegas Convention Center) with SK member companies including SK holdings, SK innovation, SK hynix, SK E&S, SK ecoplant, and SKC under the theme of "Inspire Happiness".
The company will also showcase the 160-square-meter SK ICT Family Demo Room, which will introduce various AI technologies from SKT and SK hynix.
SK Group's CES 2024 pavilion is a theme park concept called Wonderland, where visitors can experience a net-zero world where the climate crisis has disappeared and the value of happy everyday life that will continue to exist there through SK Group's technologies.
SKT plans to provide visitors with a new experience of experiencing the future transportation system by riding the Magic Carpet through its Urban Air Traffic (UAM), AI semiconductor "SAPEON," AI-based indoor and outdoor population and network analysis system "Litmus Plus," and renewable energy Virtual Power Plant technologies.
The Magic Carpet is actually designed in line with the Wonderland concept of the SK Group pavilion based on the UAM airframe that SKT aims to commercialize in 2025.
Visitors will be able to experience the power of SAPEON, an AI semiconductor with efficient power usage and fast processing speeds compared to competitors, as well as the UAM's ability to accurately analyze sensor data from cameras, radars, and other devices mounted on the aircraft to eliminate risks during flight and ensure safe operation.
Together with SK hynix, SKT will operate the SK ICT Family Demo Room in the Hospitality Zone on the north side of the Central Hall at the CES venue to introduce various AI technology leaderships.
The demo room will introduce a total of 10 AI services and technologies, including SKT's core AI technologies such as AI-based indoor and outdoor traffic and network data analysis system Litmus Plus, pet AI diagnostic assistant service X Caliber, and AI Quantum Camera applied to various fields such as robotics, security, media, and healthcare, as well as SAPEON's latest AI semiconductor X330 and SK hynix's semiconductor technology.
In particular, a highly efficient next-generation AI data center model that provides a full stack of SK Group's data center-related technologies, including the liquid cooling technology that SKT successfully validated last November and SK Broadband's AI-based data center infrastructure management (DCIM) know-how, will also be unveiled at the demo room.
Also on display will be AI Media Studio, a media processing and content quality enhancement platform that utilizes AI to convert old videos to high definition, separate and denoise sound sources without voice loss, and create, translate, and synchronize subtitles.
