SingularityNet is a company that provides a marketplace based on blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) that allows anyone to use various AI solutions on a public platform.

Its CEO is Ben Goertzel, a leading mathematician in the field of artificial intelligence, and Dr. David Hanson, creator of Sophia, the world's first humanoid robot, which debuted in 2016, is a co-founder.

Sophia has been featured in international news outlets including CBS, NBC, and the BBC, and has appeared on popular television programs such as The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Good Morning Britain. In January 2018, the robot visited South Korea, where it was interviewed by various media outlets, and was the first robot to be granted citizenship by Saudi Arabia.

SingularityNet launched AGIX, a cryptocurrency created by various AI organizations such as the Artificial General Intelligence Association and the Asia AI Hub, a community of top AI experts, in 2016, and the cryptocurrency's market capitalization is currently around $350 million.

AGIX is listed and traded on several cryptocurrency exchanges, including Binance, Kucoin, Ethfinex, IDEX, and Bit Forex. The SingularityNet ecosystem includes 20 specialized AI companies and about 20,000 AI experts.

AI Mindbot has selected IVS (CEO Bae Young-hoon), a company specializing in AI image analysis and sound analysis, as the company to produce various AI devices in Korea, and signed an exclusive business cooperation agreement. Therefore, all AI devices produced by SingularityNet in Korea will be produced by IVS.

In particular, the humanoid robot "MindBot" will be developed by SingularityNet's subsidiary "MindChidren" in the first half of 2024, and will enter full-scale production in 2025. "Mindbot" is an AI robot that can interact with families, teach children, and help with household chores. In addition to this, many AI devices such as AI Box, which will be in charge of decentralized AI computing, are currently being prepared.

"We are pleased to attract the AI production base of SingularityNet Foundation, which is leading AI technology and standardization globally, to Korea," said Park Young-sook, the first CEO of AI Mindbot, adding that the company's sales are expected to reach more than KRW 30 billion from 2025.

SingularityNet Foundation will hold the 2024 Beneficial AGI Summit in Panama from February 27 to March 1, 2024, where approximately 1,000 AI experts from around the world will participate to present new AI technologies, establish AI ethical standards, and discuss future AI development directions.
