SPC's bakery brand Paris Baguette announced on February 26 that it has opened Bishop Street in Hawaii, USA.
Hawaii is a global tourist destination that attracts nearly 10 million tourists annually, and Paris Baguette plans to strengthen its presence as a global bakery brand by opening additional stores in Ala Moana, Pearl City, and other prominent tourist and commercial areas in Hawaii, including Bishop Street.
Bishop Street, Paris Baguette's 160th location in the U.S., is located on the first and third floors of the 1000 Bishop building on Bishop Street in downtown Honolulu and is 258 square feet with 43 seats. Bishop Street is a key business district in Honolulu with a high concentration of banks, business centers, and hotels.
The Bishop Street location is characterized by the Paris Baguette brand identity, with blue tiles, the signature color of Paris Baguette, and light-toned wood materials that create a warm atmosphere. In particular, the store has 40 seats on the terrace on the first floor of the building, allowing customers to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of Honolulu.
"Hawaii is a strategic market that can play a role in global brand awareness and image enhancement as a world-class tourist destination," said an official from Paris Baguette. "We will continue to actively expand our global business by entering new regions."
Meanwhile, SPC Group has steadily expanded its business by entering the global market, starting with China in 2004, and currently operates more than 550 stores in 10 countries, including the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
