KB Securities' ESG Report, a sustainability report published last year, has won a gold award at the 2022/23 Vision Awards organized by the League of American Communication Professionals (LACP).
The LACP Vision Awards have been organized by LACP, a marketing research organization founded by American communication professionals, since 2001. Each year, the awards recognize outstanding publications by evaluating annual reports, sustainability reports, and environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) reports published by government agencies, companies, and organizations around the world.
KB Securities participated in the ESG Report category for the first time at this year's awards and received a perfect score in six out of eight categories, totaling 98 points (out of 100), and was awarded Gold.
"It is meaningful to be recognized by a global professional organization for our efforts to clearly and effectively communicate our ESG management status and goals to our stakeholders," said Kim Sung-hyun, President of KB Securities. Meanwhile, KB Securities is promoting various management activities to spread ESG values and expand the ecosystem. By linking ESG with the business of a financial investment company and continuously expanding investments, loans, and products in the environmental and social fields, the balance of ESG financing has tripled in three years.
