Kolmar Korea has partnered with Dermatest, Europe's leading cosmetics safety organization, to create a method for evaluating cosmetic efficacy. The aim is to assist customers in obtaining Dermatest certification marks for various product functions and to enter the global market in accordance with market changes.
Recently, Kolmar Korea announced the signing of a joint research agreement for human application testing at the Kolmar Korea Institute of Advanced Technology in Naegok-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Moon Byung-seok, head of the Technical Research Institute of Kolmar Holdings, and Dr. Werner Voss, founder of Dermatest.
Dermatest is a globally recognized testing laboratory established in Germany in 1978, with over 45 years of research experience. Its experts, including dermatologists and allergists, employ scientific methods to assess the safety and efficacy of cosmetics, consumer products, nutraceuticals, medical devices, and other products, granting certification marks accordingly.
Through this agreement, both parties will develop various efficacy evaluation methods required by the cosmetics market in recent years. Kolmar Korea will develop new evaluation methods based on its accumulated technology, and Dermatest will review these methods and apply them to Dermatest certification mark tests.
Kolmar Korea aims to expand the global market for K-beauty by assisting customers in obtaining the Dermatest certification mark.
