For the seventh consecutive year, LG Electronics (LG) has been honored with the prestigious Air-Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) Performance Award, a testament to the unmatched quality of LG’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions.
AHRI stands as a globally respected trade association representing manufacturers of HVAC, refrigeration, and water heating systems.
The rigorous product evaluations essential for determining AHRI Performance Award recipients are predominantly conducted by Intertek, a reputable third-party organization specializing in testing, certification, and inspection services.
From 2021 to 2023, LG’s HVAC prowess shone brightly as 62 of its solutions spanning six distinct product categories successfully met AHRI's stringent evaluation criteria for the third consecutive year. These evaluated LG products encompass Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV), Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF), Unitary Small Heat Pump (USHP), Water-Cooled Chiller (WCCL), Air-Cooled Chiller (ACCL), and Air Handling Unit (AHU) categories.
Among LG’s standout offerings recognized in the latest AHRI Performance Award is the Multi V large-capacity outdoor unit, which harnesses LG’s renowned Inverter Compressor technology to deliver robust and energy-efficient performance. Particularly favored in regions of the Northern Hemisphere where harsh winters prevail, LG’s premier VRF system ensures reliable and efficient indoor heating, even in temperatures plummeting as low as negative 30 degrees Celsius (negative 22 degrees Fahrenheit).
Additionally, LG clinched the AHRI Performance Award for the first time with its innovative AHU, designed to optimize indoor comfort by regulating heating, cooling, ventilation, and humidity levels effectively.
