Jinwoo SMC was established as Hosung Machinery Co. which specialized in sophisticated machinery in 1992. The company was renamed as Jinwoo Machinery Co. in 1998 for focusing on aerial work platforms. Since 1998, the company has been producing aerial work platforms with a steady application of advanced technologies aimed at innovating designs of its products, living up to customers’ expectations and enhancing operators’ safety. In 2007, Jinwoo SMC was set up to design and produce special machinery. The company received the Export Tower of USD1 Million from the Korea International Trade Association.
Its patents include an articulating type aerial lift, an outrigger for aerial lift, a foldable platform for aerial lift, a horizontal system of platform for aerial lift, a flexible boom with a safe structure for aerial lift and an endless track driving crane. All these patents prove how excellent the technology of Jinwoo SMC is.
Thanks to its outstanding products and technologies, there has been strong demand for products of Jinwoo SMC. As a result, the company has been receiving many enquiries about its products from the Middle East, Southern Asian countries and Australia. The company enjoys the biggest share in the Korean market for aerial platforms over the last several years on the strength of its best technologies and competitive prices.
In addition, Jinwoo SMC exported its products to Iraq in 2008; to UAE, Syria and Iraq in 2009; to Canada, the Philippines and Singapore in 2010. After carrying out international market research and considering demand for products from overseas customers, the company is planning to set up after-sales service centers ensuring steady and reliable services for its customers.
Jinwoo SMC has been awarded the KOTRA Seal of Excellence since 2010.
