Korea’s largest light bulb manufacturer, Namyung Lighting has been producing a wide range of home, industrial, and automobile bulbs for more than 50 years. Based on automated equipment and rigorous quality management, the company operates three factories in Korea, and their car light bulbs, which brought them TUV’s E1 certificate from Germany and ETL’s DOT from the US, are currently supplied to Hyundai Motor Company, Kia Motors Company, and Hyundai Mobis in Korea, and Bosch and Wurth as well as Japanese car parts companies such as Autobacs, IPF, and Stanley as OEM.
In 2007, Namyung Lighting launched Eagled, the first home LED light bulb in the world, after addressing characteristic problems of LED lighting: lack of luminosity, overheating, rectilinear propagation, glare, and so on. This product boasts excellent luminosity, over 70 percent energy efficiency, more than 80RA of color rendering, and semi-permanent life, and, free of lead and mercury, received CE (Europe), ROHS, PSE (Japan), UL (US), and KS (Korea) certificates for its environmentally-friendliness. Furthermore, the company has not stopped pouring efforts into quality improvement, even after obtaining ISO9002 in 1999, ISO/TS16949 in 2005, and ISO14001 in 2011.
Brighter and clearer
Eagled, produced by Namyung Lighting, is an LED lamp for normal lighting and a product of joint development among Namyung Lighting, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, and Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology. The general problems with LED lighting were resolved by applying cutting-edge technology for the circuit, heat protection, and lighting LED elements that radically improved luminosity and color rendering. And it can be used for replacing incandescent lamps, fluorescent lights, halogens and the like, while having high color rendering (Ra92) close to natural light, and long life span (50,000hrs, over 10 years).
The MR 5w Spot- type has low power level (4w) and can replace 20w halogen lamp, providing a long life span, 30,000 hours, about 15 times of a halogen lamp. Also, the low-heat design eliminated the risk of fire, and the high-brightness LED suits various purposes.
The halogen head-lamp, available in H1, H3, H4, H7 clear type and 900S clear type, is used for headlights for cars of different automobile manufacturers.
