SEOUL, KOREA - Samsung Electronics, Korea's largest IT company is shifting a market paradigm with their latest fridge line, Zipel T9000, unveiled on July 4. Its initial sales record proved its sharp edge over competitors.
The free-standard type refrigerator for home use with world's largest 900ℓ is revolutionizing its breed by exceeding current freezing technology. Samsung Electronics said its sales have gone up three times higher in the 10 days since the release day than the 10-day figure of two-door fridge Grande Style Series in October, 2010.
Experiencing better-than-expected demand, the world's biggest chip and smartphone maker's Kwangju factory is in full mode, focusing on Zipel T9000,
"Earlier this year, we were able to breathe in a new market trend as Zipel T9000's release date was moved forward," said Head of Strategic Marketing team Um Young-hoon,"As a leader in the industry, we will keep adding new values to customers' lives with innovative products."
