SEOUL, KOREA — On July 9, a U.K. judge did not think Samsung’s tablet is cool, because Apple’s iPad rules, well, not in court. Judge Colin Birss’s verdict was out, “They are not as cool.”

Weeks later, the notice came on July 19. And it outlines the court’s decision that favors Samsung’s claim regarding the infringe lawsuit between world’s two biggest smartphone manufacturers. The Judge gave Apple an order to post the message indicating "Samsung Galaxy tabs did’t copy Apple iPad’s designs" on its U.K. website and publish it in newspapers and magazines as well.

“No company likes to refer to a rival on its website,” said Richard Hacon, a lawyer for Cupertino, California-based Apple. And Judge Birss permits Apple to take the case to the court of appeal.

Samsung and Apple have been involved in multiple patent lawsuits worldwide including Germany, the Netherlands and the U.S. Each of them is also battling against other competitors like HTC Corp. and Google Inc. They all are in fierce competition for dominance of the smartphone and tablet computer markets.
